Salary: £50,000 + Paid Breaks | 40 Hours Per Week
Our client, a well-established care home, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to support the management team in delivering the highest standards of residential, nursing, and palliative care. As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will play a key leadership role, supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day clinical and operational management of the home. You will ensure high-quality care is delivered, provide guidance to the nursing team, and help maintain compliance with CQC standards. The role involves working 36 hours per week, including a rotation of day and night shifts, ensuring consistency of care and strong leadership presence.
What We’re Looking For:
* Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with an active NMC pin
* Previous experience in a senior nurse or leadership role within a care home setting
* A compassionate and resident-focused approach to care
* Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Home Manager in the overall clinical and operational management of the home
* Lead and mentor the nursing and care teams to ensure high-quality, person-centred care
* Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and medication administration
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, company policies, and best practices
* Provide clinical support and guidance to staff, ensuring professional development
* Assist with audits, care planning, and resident assessments
* Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals
* Act as a role model for excellence in nursing and dementia care
