Job Title: Deputy Manager (Children's Home)\nSalary: up to £36K pa depending on experience\nLocation: Birmingham, Sparkhill B11\nJob type: Permanent/Full-time 37.5hrs spread over 7 days\nAbout the Company - The accommodation offers a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals who need assisted living services. Our mission is to provide a high-quality environment where young people can flourish, learn, and grow in homes that they can call their own.\nAbout the Role - We are looking for a Deputy Manager to manage our young people and Adults Supported Accommodation that expertly responds to the needs of young people and adults ages 16-18 years old in our care, keeping them safe from harm while preparing them for a fulfilling life ahead.
The successful candidate will be the First point of contact on-site as the Registered Manager, Lead and manage a team of support workers and a wider team, liaise with Ofsted and CQC regulatory bodies, manage budgets and rosters effectively, Report directly to the directors, Manage training and development of staff.\nResponsibilities - To keep abreast of developments in social services practice, to be individually accountable for standards of professional practice, Familiar with Ofsted and CQC regulations and protocol, Holder of NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care, at least three years' experience of working (paid) with young people and adults with challenging behaviours, Experience leading and managing a team.\nWho we are looking for:\n * To keep abreast of developments in social services practice\n * To be individually accountable for standards of professional practice.\n * Familiar with Ofsted and CQC regulations and protocol\n * Holder of NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care\n * At least three years’ experience of working (paid) with young people and adults with challenging behaviours\n * Experience leading and managing a team\nBenefits Package\n * Monday - Sunday shift work ,37.5 hours per week, willing to do 4 x sleep in's per month paid at £60 each sleep in shift\n * Hours between 7:30 am – 10:00 pm.\n * On-going training & development opportunities.\n * Overtime options available.\n * Career progression.\nFor more information contact, Fel or Raj on (phone number removed)
