REGULAR DONATIONS COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER A prestigious London university is seeking a passionate individual to support its advancement division in securing philanthropic donations. This hybrid, temporary position offers the possibility of becoming permanent. The role is vital to the university's advancement strategy, with a focus on overseeing the marketing strategy for the Regular Giving Programme. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage direct marketing and fundraising campaigns, ensuring they are delivered within set timeframes and budgets. Experience in education or charity sectors is highly beneficial. REGULAR DONATIONS COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER ROLE: Managing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of donor acquisition, retention, and stewardship campaigns across various channels, including direct mail, email and social media Overseeing direct marketing campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard Working with internal stakeholders to develop compelling cases for support and enhance donor journeys, contributing to new donor acquisition and ongoing philanthropic income Producing fundraising materials, copywriting, and managing communications for donor stewardship and engagement Managing relationships with external stakeholders including creative and design agencies, mailing houses, fundraising consultancies etc to ensure strong collaboration in line with the Advancement team’s strategy Collaborating with the Data and Insight team to ensure accurate data segmentation and campaign reporting Monitoring direct marketing budgets and working with external suppliers to obtain competitive quotes and maximise cost-effectiveness Providing insights into campaign performance through data analysis, supporting the development of new reports to track progress Acting as the primary point of contact for senior leadership on campaign updates and progress REGULAR DONATIONS COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER ESSENTIALS: Experience in communications or digital marketing, with a proven ability to write copy on multiple mediums in line with the Advancement team’s strategy. 2 years' experience working in Education or Charities Experience working in philanthropy or fundraising Strong communication skills, both written and verbal High attention to detail Ability to deliver on multiple objectives with conflicting deadlines If you feel that you fit the above criteria then please apply today by submitting your CV to us.
