We are seeking
a Postdoctoral Scientist to join Translational Gastroenterology Unit, Experimental Medicine, Nuffield Department of Clinical Medicine (NDM). This post is to work on the study of T cell responses to CMV in the mouse. We aim to define their role in healthy tissue, in responses to vaccines and in response to infectious challenges/vaccines and cancer. We also aim to understand the role of MAIT cells in supporting CMV-specific “inflationary” T cells. You will hold a PhD in Immunology, or other closely allied area. Prior work in the area of immunology including studies of T cell phenotype and function in in vivo models is essential. It is desirable to have experience of actively collaborating in the development of research articles for publication. The post is full time and fixed-term for 2 years.
