The individual in this role will work as a member of the Networks & Engineering team under the day-to-day guidance of the Programme Director. The primary functions of this role are Asset Recovery Logistics, Import and Export, and Operational Support.
* Position encompasses the management, coordination, and creation of route plans for the recovery of TXO Group’s assets in a corporate office environment
* Role encompasses the management of direct reports in planning, routing, and customer communication processes
* Overall scope will cover multiple depot locations, utilising multiple software applications and communication tools
* Role will allow the individual to work cross functionally and drive and manage cost initiatives across the organisation
* Coordinate efforts and manage the recovery planning to make sure all aspects of the role are following processes and systems utilisation
* Become a systems super user for all applications in direct support of the role
* Manage all customer service aspects related to asset recovery
* Manage and create key reporting for position and leadership
* Able to Self-manage and take direct guidance from line manager to support corporate initiatives
* Ability to manage data and BI tools at a high level
* Ability to create, understand and disseminate reporting from BI tools
Operations Support
Coordinate the efficient and cost-effective execution of all TXO Group’s Managed Recoveries
Assist in the evaluation and development of equipment recovery opportunities and providers
Assist in the management of all Operations-related procedures related to recovery, including developing new and updating existing processes
Assist in the completion of two semi-annual inventory processes
Assist in the onboarding/training of new Operations partners and location personnel
Participate and provide feedback on continuous improvements to enhance business flow
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced multi-mode transportation planning or operational environment and or management experience (preferred experience in Logistics/Supply Chain/Equipment Handling/ Operations)
* Analytical mindset, focused on continuous improvement and identification of opportunities
* Demonstrated capability using Microsoft Excel, Access, and BI tools with the ability to create and manage data and create reports for trend analytics.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Demonstrated ability to work well with a minimal amount of supervision
* Demonstrated flexibility to work as an individual contributor or as part of a team
* A strong entrepreneurial spirit and desire to be part of a small, rapidly changing organization
* Willingness to travel on an as-needed basis
Desired Qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to interpret, analyse, and resolve operational process shortfalls
* A history of decisive decision making and collaboration with peers across a wide range of business functions
* LEAN – Six Sigma Green Belt trained or certified
* Experience negotiating transportation rates with asset-based and brokered transportation providers
