Due to an exciting pipeline of study awards, we are looking to appoint a Senior Account Executive, Translations.
The Senior Account Executive role is a customer-oriented professional with a strong results-driven approach. The overarching goal is to manage and curate relationships and opportunities with existing clients and build them into long-term profitable ones.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the relationships between clients, vendors, and Innovative Trials to ensure the smooth running of assigned accounts/projects.
2. Support Patient Recruitment & Retention programmes for defined projects, including the development of study materials from study start-up to translations setup and file maintenance.
3. Train and support new staff.
4. Support across other disciplines during leave or busy periods as required.
5. Manage projects including some financial responsibilities.
6. Manage third-party vendors.
Detailed Responsibilities
Client and Vendor Management:
1. Prepare client and vendor meeting agendas, take, file, and distribute minutes.
2. Identify and escalate performance issues with clients and vendors.
Project Management:
1. Prepare reports in the defined time frame.
2. Ensure timely and accurate tracker completion.
3. Ensure full file maintenance and tracker completion.
4. Review copy ensuring compliance with all necessary regulatory/client requirements.
5. Manage medical writing, artwork development, website, digital campaigns, and animations.
6. Oversee retention item selection, translations, and printing and shipping of materials as needed.
7. Generate/review study or program KPIs.
Profitability Management:
1. Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies within the unit and across the company.
2. Manage budget including financial forecasting, client invoicing, obtaining vendor quotes, creating task orders, and drafting change orders for review.
3. Approve pass-through invoices and identify out-of-scope requests.
Problem Solving:
1. Input into the creation of copy, artwork, websites, digital campaigns, and retention item selection.
Specialist Responsibilities by Discipline:
Client & Vendor Management:
1. Production, filing, and distribution of translation vendor agendas and minutes where applicable.
2. Good understanding of processes across translations.
3. Participate in translation vendor oversight meetings and provide feedback on performance.
Project Management:
1. Support the translation process, including filing and timely tracking of received documents.
2. Support QC allocation and complete quality checks.
3. Review bilingual tables.
4. Create country-specific Master English documentation according to local customs.
5. Compile submission packs required by clients for EC/IRB submission.
6. Review EC/IRB feedback and make required amendments based on feedback; record feedback for continuous learning.
7. Support/manage printing and shipping processes when required.
Profitability Management:
1. File maintenance and tracker completion.
2. Manage budget including approving translation vendor invoices, obtaining vendor quotes, and managing task orders.

Key Skills/Attributes/Education
Desired:
1. Degree or higher in a biological science, or experience in materials development for patient recruitment, clinical research, or health communications.
2. Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and oral.
3. Ability to multitask and manage a variety of projects simultaneously.
4. Proficient in using Google Workspace is desirable but not essential.
