The Role
The post holder will provide a domestic service to patients, staff and visitors of NHS Lanarkshire, (NHSL) premises through the use of effective and efficient methods, which deliver a ‘safe’ and welcoming environment and meet the required NHSL and Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI )standards.

What we'll need you to bring
1. Knowledge of cleaning standards and related procedures.
2. Required to undertake on-the-job training and induction (this will generally take 4-6 weeks, depending on hours/days worked ), to achieve full competency across a range of duties
3. Undertake NHS Lanarkshire compulsory training
4. Undertake mandatory Health Care Support Workers (HCSW) standards
5. Undertake and complete the NHSS Domestic Services Workbook.
6. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
8. Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively and efficiently in a busy environment
9. Working knowledge of basic information technology.

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in PSSD Hotel Services within Kello Hospital.
The working pattern for this role: 7.30am -13.54pm Saturday & Sunday
