Job Description
Role: Head of Product - Insurance
Salary: £110,000 + 35% Bonus + £20K Equity
Location: London HQ - 3 days on site, 2 days WFH
On behalf of our client, a global leader in insurance, we are looking for a strategic Head of Product to help define AI Products and features. You will also manage the team that reacts to changes on the market regarding any developments within AI products and sees through 12-week pilot projects in response.
Experience Required:
* Experience managing business transformation projects and working with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
* Knowledge of Property & Casualty Products, Accident & Health Products, or Personal Lines Products.
* Understanding of insurance sales and distribution for consumer line products and experience in telemarketing.
* A strong understanding of technology, business, and operations, with experience delivering projects across different functions.
* Industry knowledge (preferred) with familiarity of core functions like claims, marketing, distribution, legal, and operations.
* Proven ability to think creatively, conceptualize new features, define product roadmaps, and develop business cases for digital solutions.
* The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
* Excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* An understanding of KPIs associated with large-scale projects.
* Strong prioritization and time management skills, even under tight deadlines and budget constraints.
* A keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyse information and identify inconsistencies.
Responsibilities:
* Generating ideas to continuously develop AI systems across all functions (eg, Customer Service, Claims, Underwriting, Finance).
* Managing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
* Facilitating change through workshops and other initiatives.
* Collaborating across teams to streamline ideas and ensure alignment with the company's ecosystem.
