About the Role :
This is a permanent part-time position working 20 hours per week. We are looking for a Kaiako on Wednesday's from 10am-2pm and Thursday's and Friday's from 9am - 5.30pm.
You will be based in our bustling Preschool Room working alongside our tamariki aged 3.5-5 years old. Our daily curriculum offers a robust Set for School programme as children are supported for their next educational steps, their transition to primary school.
You'll collaborate with the Over 2's teaching team, sharing an outdoor space with the toddlers. You will have experience completing documentation such as internal evaluations, learning stories, and individual learning plans, all managed through StoryPark.
Role requirements :
* B Ed / Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
* Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
* Contribution to our vision of providing a community of guidance and growth.
* Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
* A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
* Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
