Temporary Housing Repairs Planner/Admin
Location: Caerphilly 5261596
Key Requirements:
1. Ability to assess and deal effectively with response repairs queries.
2. Ability to manage change by incorporating new technology to communicate effectively with the mobile working team.
3. Ability to react to emergency situations ensuring all operations and levels of productivity are maintained.
4. Ability to write reports and produce information for senior officers in a variety of formats.
5. Experience of working in a customer-focused environment.
6. Experience in the use of IT software and database packages.
The purpose of the role is to provide high levels of customer care through the establishment of good working relations with clients and customers, including customer satisfaction surveys and taking appropriate action to improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Effectively organise and co-ordinate a team of trade staff, Surveyors, and program of works via the dynamic scheduling system to meet customers’ expectations.
2. Manage mobile working teams' workloads effectively to minimise lost time, improve operational performance, and reduce unnecessary travelling, resulting in improved business efficiency.
3. Ensure jobs are completed right first time by ordering the correct materials, organising trade labour requirements effectively, and arranging appointment times based on known availability of resources.
4. Manage change by incorporating new technology into organising and managing diaries, such as utilising hand-held PDAs to communicate effectively with the mobile working team.
5. Support the service area by contributing towards the improvement of key performance indicators.
6. Re-arrange appointments with customers where necessary.
