An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Document Controller to join our Housing Partnerships NW team based in Bolton. The main purpose of the role is to set up, manage and maintain Electronic Data Management Systems in line with company, customer and project documentation requirements.

What you’ll do:
1. Manage the Electronic Data Management Systems for storing, controlling, and distributing information on Seddon projects such as Asite, R Drive, Propellor, Pas Hub (this list is not exclusive).
2. Create projects on the EDMS, including associated reports.
3. Ensure that controlled copies of the latest approved documents are distributed accordingly.
4. Organise, manage and file project documents and drawings in conjunction with project and corporate naming and numbering procedures.
5. Check that all information complies with specified company formats, templates and standards.
6. Assist with quality checks and audits of systems, identifying and correcting any anomalies.
7. Perform general document control activities such as quality checking of metadata and documents.
8. Carry out routine document management administrative tasks including publishing, technical query handling, transmittals, and filing.
9. Ensure project team compliance with systems.
10. Act as focal point for all team document management matters.
11. Provide training for all stakeholders.
12. Write protocols and training guides for all stakeholders.
13. Perform general administration duties to support the business unit in delivering business continuity toward achieving the business plan.
