This role is an opportunity to join a leading Manchester referral clinic as we introduce our night nursing team. Led by a specialist surgeon and supported by an amazing team of AVP vets, nurses and support staff, Dogwood Referrals offers orthopaedic and neurosurgery referrals to Manchester and the surrounding areas.
Working 5 nights, Monday to Friday, 6pm to 8am then 9 nights off, you will provide overnight care and support for our surgical patients. With support from on-call veterinary surgeons, your role is to ensure patient comfort, safety, and recovery are optimal.

Role Accountabilities

In this role you will:
* Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
* Support with evening or overnight surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
* Carry out nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
* Deliver patient monitoring and care.
* Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
* Dispense and check medication.
* Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
* Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience
* RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
* Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
* Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
* Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
