Band 7 Locum Mammographer Job Title: Band 7 Mammographer Location: Surrey Working Hours: 0845-1700 Monday to Friday Rate: £32.00 - £33.00 P/H We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Band 7 Mammographer to join our team in Surrey. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in performing mammographic procedures and contributing to the early detection and treatment of breast cancer. Responsibilities : As a Band 7 Mammographer, you will be responsible for performing mammography examinations, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety. You will operate advanced imaging equipment, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal diagnostic services. Your expertise will also support the training and mentoring of junior staff, enhancing the overall capability of the department. Requirements: HCPC registration as a Radiographer Postgraduate qualification in Mammography Substantial experience in mammography, including breast screening and symptomatic clinics Strong knowledge of mammographic imaging techniques and protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to patient care and safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Mentoring and training experience for junior staff is desirable Breast Screening Why work with Pulse?
