The Role:
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a dynamic and logical Business Analyst to join our IT Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders, manage a small development team, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects and process improvements.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a key member of the IT Services team, you will:
1. Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, acting as a liaison between stakeholders to translate needs into actionable technical briefs.
2. Collaborate on projects by mapping processes, creating business models, and supporting the successful delivery of solutions.
3. Manage the Business Systems Development Team, ensuring effective resource allocation, performance management, and adherence to KPIs and SLAs.
4. Maintain secure and controlled systems, proactively managing cyber security, system changes, and code versioning processes.
5. Support process improvement initiatives, scoping projects, and ensuring compliance with best practices.
