Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of heating systems and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
We are a local business established for 30+ years based in Merseyside who service customers locally. We provide quality electrical, plumbing, heating, and mechanical services to local authorities, industrial, and commercial customers. Our engineers are faced with attending multiple jobs each day on various sites. The role is very varied and requires a quick learner who is easily adaptable to new situations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role previously.
Applicants must be able to pass a DBS as works are carried out in local schools and council buildings.
Duties
1. Find faults and repair commercial and domestic plumbing systems.
2. Complete maintenance and reactive works to client buildings.
3. Perform testing and inspection to clients' mechanical services.
4. Install various piping systems including copper press and soldered.
5. Assemble and install piping as required in plant room installations.
6. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
7. Adhere to health and safety protocols while working on-site.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Previous experience maintaining, repairing, and fault finding commercial mechanical systems.
2. Previous experience installing commercial and domestic mechanical systems.
3. NVQ L2 and L3 in plumbing/pipe fitting.
4. Hold a valid UK licence for 2+ years.
5. Capable of passing a DBS check.

Salary: Dependant on experience.

Pay: £31,200.00-£36,400.00 per year
