We are looking to recruit aSenior Project Manager (Engineering) to fill a key role located in our Sheffield plant.
Role Summary:
Engineering (engineering project delivery)
The engine for transformation, responsible for the development, generation and ultimate delivery of the capital investment plan for the site. This is delivered through a team of Mondelez and contract project engineers.
Working closely with the factory manager, this is a strategic forward looking role, ultimately developing and then leading the delivery of a multi-million pound investment agenda for the site over the coming years.
Business Development (site development, from a growth, manufacturing technology, packaging technology)
Leading a small team, and working with external to the site stakeholders, you will defining the future for the factory, looking strategically, developing our Vision 2030 roadmap that ultimately feeds into the Engineering element for delivery.
Experience of working in a similar FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) business would be an advantage.

How you will contribute
You will:
1. Lead and champion Site Engineering best practices
2. Define and agree Capital Investment plans
3. Execute capital projects Right First Time, with Vertical Start Ups to the highest standard of Safety and Quality.
4. Support Site Strategic Plan / Annual Contract creation: Support the Plant Manager in developing the site strategy and plant road maps (Vision 2030).
5. Lead, coach and develop the talent within the organisation.
6. Provide effective conversion change coordination including project costing, timing and capital requirements, applying engineering best practices, most efficient use of plant capability and capacity while maintaining high-level customer service.

7. Strong Safety & GMP standards – experience of managing large projects with FMCG
8. Good understanding of end-to-end processes in the manufacturing and business environment, project leadership / management skills and technical and financial aspects of the business
9. Strategic thinking, while having ability to excel in leading tactical programs
10. Highly action oriented, drive for results, innovative, challenging actual set-ups, entrepreneurial ability
11. Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment
12. Demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem solving and team building
13. Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
Education and Experience:
14. University education in Engineering, subject area.
15. Fundamental know-how and experience in food processes and products required.
16. Good knowledge of technical and financial affairs required.
17. Experience within production and working experience managing teams/projects.
18. Extensive experience within Engineering
19. Strong people management skills required.
20. Strong communication and negotiation skills to manage cross-functional interfaces required.
21. Analytical and conceptual skills required.
22. Strong project management and organisational skills required.
23. Creativity to provide smart solutions at lower cost required.
