A unique opportunity has arisen for a JV Audit Assistant Manager/Manager to join a tech-enabled services group based in Aberdeen. This is a key role where you will make a significant impact in Joint Venture and Contract Audits, within a collaborative environment that values professional development, innovation, and client success.
In this role, you will take responsibility for leading and participating in Joint Venture and Contract audits, ensuring high-quality delivery throughout the audit process. You will work closely with Senior Management to plan, schedule, and execute audits, while managing budgets, forecasts, and billing. A key focus will be developing strong client relationships and supporting business development efforts. There will be opportunities to visit client sites worldwide and you will work alongside experienced audit professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and participating in Joint Venture and Contract Audits, ensuring exceptional delivery.
* Working with Senior Managers and Directors to plan, schedule, and deliver audits.
* Managing budgets, forecasts, and billing, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact.
* Contributing to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and promoting services.
* Supporting internal process improvements and maintain up-to-date systems.
* Managing multiple assignments concurrently, ensuring on-time delivery and client satisfaction.
* Contributing to business reporting, including monthly KPIs and CRM updates.
People Development & Leadership:
* Serving as a role model for junior team members, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
* Actively supporting performance management and contribute to team development.
* Encouraging a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Business Development & Networking:
* Cultivate strong relationships with clients and industry professionals.

Requirements:
* Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (applications from those "qualified through experience" will be considered with a minimum of 5 years' experience).
* Experience in an upstream finance environment.
* Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Excel and audit software tools.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
