Epsom College is a co-educational day and boarding school with approximately 1100 pupils aged 11-18. Epsom College is seeking to appoint a Director of People and Culture. As a key member of the College’s Operational Leadership Team, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), they will be responsible for combining the operational and strategic oversight of the College’s HR function, to ensure a positive and engaging workplace culture is in place and maintained. It is an exciting time at the College with the recent commencement of the 16th Head of Epsom College and he and the COO are now in a position to set and deliver a new and ambitious strategy for the College, building on its success and ensuring a modern operating and learning environment. The Director of People and Culture will lead on all HR Matters and manage the HR function to ensure the delivery of an effective HR service for the College, with focus including Developing and implementing a new People, Culture and Organisational Development Strategy which is aligned to the overall College Strategy Modernising HR systems, data management and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Working with academic colleagues and the COO to ensure teaching and operational staff have a development programme that supports them in their career at Epsom. You will possess a dynamic and strategic approach, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
