We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our client on a 3-month temporary contract in Torquay.
Job Title: Customer Service Advisor
Contract: 3 Months
Hours: Mon - Fri 37 Hours a week
Location: TQ2
Salary: £15 - £17 /hour
Responsibilities:
1. Gain knowledge and process enquiries supporting service areas such as Registrars, Elections, Housing, Housing Benefits, Council Tax, Corporate Debt, Business Rates, Highways, Natural Environment, Parking, Community Protection, and general Council enquiries.
2. Deliver customer services via telephone, face to face, digitally, and through social media, including the Main Council Switchboard and Reception.
3. Respond to enquiries through social media, email, in writing, web forms, telephone, and face to face.
4. Use own initiative and specialist knowledge to source information to assist and resolve customer enquiries, supporting other departments and resolving enquiries at the first point of contact when possible.
5. If unable to resolve, signpost and route to the team who can further assist.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Previous call centre experience.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Good IT and Keyboard Skills.
4. Available within 1 week.
