Registered Manager - Children’s Home Location: Bury, Greater Manchester No. of Beds: 3 | Type: EBD Job Type: Full-time Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 annually We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a Children’s Home in Bury, Greater Manchester. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the children’s home. Ensure the safety and well-being of the children and young people. Lead and manage a dedicated team to provide high-quality care. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Build positive relationships with children, families, and stakeholders. Ensure the home meets or exceeds OFSTED requirements for GOOD or OUTSTANDING ratings. Manage the home’s budget and resources effectively. Participate in on-call duties as required. Requirements: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare). At least 2 years’ experience managing an OFSTED-registered home with a GOOD or above rating. Experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviours (EBD). Full UK driving licence. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. The Children’s Homes England Regulations 2015, Quality Standards 2015, Children Act 1989, Children Act 2004). Familiarity with ClearCare or Mentor software.
