This role requires deep technical expertise in Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, security best practices, and disaster recovery. Experience with hypervisor technologies and Citrix application hosting is highly desirable but not essential. Requirements This role is suited to an experienced IT professional with a strong background in IT project design and implementation. You will be responsible for ensuring all IT infrastructure and cloud environments are optimised, secure, and aligned with industry best practices. In addition to supporting the Head of IT, you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality IT solutions. Key responsibilities include: Project Design and Implementation – Leading the design and execution of IT projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Infrastructure Management – Overseeing on-premise infrastructure and cloud environments, including Active Directory, Azure, and Microsoft 365. Disaster Recovery Planning – Designing and maintaining comprehensive business continuity plans. Application Hosting – Providing technical support for Citrix environments and other hosted applications. Networking and Security – Designing and maintaining secure network architectures, ensuring compliance with security best practices. Technical Leadership – Mentoring junior team members and staying updated with emerging technologies. Documentation and Reporting – Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and providing regular project updates.
