Job summary A vacancy has arisen for a time served mechanical or electrical craftsperson, willing to perform mechanical tasks, to work a rotating shift pattern (subject for review) maintaining plant and equipment on the Stepping Hill Hospital site. The post holder will have primary responsibility for the running and maintenance of the main boiler house and associated steam rising plant, together with out of hours hands on responsibility for site maintenance and repairs. Salary circa 35 - 40K with shift enhancements. With a recognised apprenticeship in and a minimum of level 3 BTEC or NVQ qualifications your wide experience will enable you to carry out maintenance and repairs of plant and equipment on the hospital site. The successful applicant will be a self-motivated individual with good communication skills, general electrical/mechanical engineering experience, and an ability to work on their own initiative.
