Responsibilities
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Encourage students to express themselves through writing and discussion.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and professional development.
* Organize and lead extracurricular activities that enhance students' learning experiences.
* Communicate effectively with parents to support student development.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
* Teaching certification or licensure appropriate for primary/secondary education.
* Strong knowledge of English language arts curriculum and pedagogy.
* Ability to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Passion for fostering a love of reading and writing in students.
* Experience in using technology to enhance learning.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 1-6 months
Pay: £160.00-£235.00 per day
Expected hours: 08.30 – 15.30 per week
