Job purpose: You will be the go to person for all technical elements for both live and virtual events. You will consult, design and advise on the latest creative technologies to deliver creative and engaging experiences providing innovative solutions to best deliver against brief and budget. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: General · Able to production manage events of all sizes from start to finish. · Able to produce detailed and accurate pre-production schedules and to manage all production suppliers to deliver to their respective deadlines. · Able to guide clients in venue selection based on the findings of a technical recce. · A good knowledge of international suppliers, regional legal and technical differences and of niche specialist suppliers. · Constantly seeks to develop technical production knowledge, confidence to ask questions to suppliers and colleagues. · Prepare cost proposals for pitch documents · Ensure flawless delivery of all projects · Work with creative, strategy and production to achieve the best possible results within the available budget · Confident and experienced in budget control/management of production cost totals ranging from £10k - £2million · Confident in briefing and monitoring the design, specification and construction of scenic items, including all mechanical staging elements, to ensure smooth running on site. · Ensure all health & safety policies and procedures are followed and applied on site. · Skilled and effective supplier negotiation to secure the most favourable rates for clients Account Management · Support the Account Management team in the implementation of all client strategies · Support the New Business Sales & Account Management teams in the preparation of RFPs & Proposals, as required · Attend client pitches / presentations as required · Attend client meetings, calls and reviews on a regular basis or as required · Understand client business & project specific objectives to ensure alignment throughout project
