Job Description
An established Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and Facilities Services provider is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work as part of a team on a commercial healthcare contract covering an area from Oxford to Milton Keynes to the South of the M4.
Duties:
1. Carry out Electrical Services, Planned Maintenance (PPMs), Reactive works, M&E repairs, and minor basic fabric repairs.
2. Accountable for PPM in adherence to set engineering standards, in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act requirements, company safety procedures, and contract specifications.
3. Respond to Reactive Works including all Mechanical & Electrical and minor fabric issues.
4. Adhere to the out-of-hours call-out rota as required.
5. Ensure correct and timely completion of paperwork according to company policy and procedure.
6. Provide engineering condition reports and quotations.
7. Conduct logbook auditing.
Skills / Training
1. Demonstrate competence in all areas of the Electrical trade (with valid certification).
2. Competent in fault finding; 18th Edition, C&G 2330 levels 2 & 3, NVQ levels 2 & 3.
3. C&G 2391 Test & Inspection, PAT testing; electrical servicing; basic controls.
4. Understanding of the principles; basic fault finding; condensate pump changing and filter cleaning.
Desirable:
1. Minor building/fabric items; controls/hydraulics/pneumatics as requested when necessary.
2. Understanding of building fabric: basic carpentry (door hanging, shelf erecting, etc.); internal furniture, fittings and decor repairs; external fixtures and fittings repairs; emergency leak repairs and gutter cleaning.
Miscellaneous:
1. Meter reading; emergency light testing; water temperature recording; alarm testing.

Salary: from £40,000 to £42,000 plus package including vehicle, call out, etc.
