We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Fund Operations to join our Pershing EMEA team. Pershing provides a broad range of financial business solutions to investment banks, broker-dealers, wealth managers, financial planners, and advisers across EMEA. We provide sophisticated front-end technology and flexible middle office capabilities with execution, settlement, and custody services. These are supported by a robust regulatory and compliance framework with dedicated client asset experience and expertise. This role is located in Liverpool and is hybrid.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
* Act as a point of contact to both clients and Fund Managers to ensure their requests are handled in a timely and professional manner.
* Assist with the maintenance and management of our existing funds platform.
* Handle the completion and escalation of Fund Manager agreements, amendments, and application forms.
* Take responsibility for AML queries in relation to Pershing nominee accounts, escalating to compliance and financial crime teams when required to ensure a timely resolution.
* Promptly investigate and resolve department queries.
* Work collaboratively with other internal departments to ensure a positive client experience.
* Any other duties as required.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
* Previous experience in the financial services industry is preferred but not essential.
* Good knowledge of funds and previous experience working with Fund Managers/Transfer agents would be an advantage but not essential.
* Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
* Self-motivated.
* Ability to manage their own workload.
* Strong attention to detail.
