Role responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Innovation and New Product Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new opportunities for developing a new marketable product from concept to distribution. As the New Product Development Lead you will have a hybrid role between project management and product management you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop tangible products and services that contribute to TFW’s growth and success.
Responsibilities to include but are not limited to.
1. Identifying new opportunities for developing new marketable product’s from concept to distribution.
2. Taking products and services from proof-of-concept stage and converting them into fully fledged new customer offerings’
3. Analysing industry trends and benchmarking direct and indirect competitors.
4. Conducting and using customer and market research to identify needs and preferences.
5. Collaborating with the Innovation Lead and wider business to create product concepts and prototypes.
Who we’re looking for
6. Proven experience in Product development or a related role.
7. Strong understanding of market dynamics, trends, and business strategy.
8. Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully managing new product projects.
9. Effective communication and presentation skills.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
