Job: Site Engineer Location: Head office Falkirk, projects throughout Scotland Employment: Full time, permanent Contract Scotland have a unique opportunity for a Site Engineer from a civil engineering background to join a specialist civils contractor who provide technical expertise to a multitude of sectors across the construction industry. Our client specialises in the restoration and enhancement of concrete structures, ranging from bridges and wind turbines to tunnels, aqueducts, and heritage-listed buildings. With a diverse clientele including primary contractors, subcontractors, and end clients, they stand at the forefront of their field, offering you exposure to a wide array of projects. You should be an excellent leader and have great interpersonal skills, as well as the following: Implementing strategies as discussed with management. Experienced working with RAMS. Checking design plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations. Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site. Develop method statements and risk assessment. Keeping accurate records, including a diary, of all site activities. Supporting the team, and any other site engineering duties as required. To excel in this role, you'll need: A Civil Engineering related degree. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Site Engineer in civil engineering projects. Experience an Engineer working on concrete repairs is desirable. Appropriate knowledge of health and safety polices. Excellent communication and liaison skills. Valid CSCS. A full UK driving license. Flexibility for travel and occasional working away.
