As we embark on this thrilling new chapter, we are searching for a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Manager to join our team and be a part of this exciting new world. As the Maintenance Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that Mar Hall's facilities and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards. Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager will include: Maintenance Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to enhance the functionality and appearance of our facilities. Team Leadership: Lead a skilled maintenance team, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and efficiency. Asset Management: Oversee the maintenance of all property assets, including mechanical, electrical, and structural components. Budgeting and Planning: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource utilization. Health and Safety: Implement and enforce rigorous health and safety protocols to guarantee a secure environment for guests and staff. Other Responsibilities Managing a small team to provide reactive & proactive maintenance Coordinating the planned preventative maintenance programme Understanding all of the electrical & mechanical systems within the hotel, spa, restaurant & kitchens in order to respond to issues and to ensure correct upkeep Liaising with and managing contractors on on-site projects Qualifications, Skills, and Experience In-depth knowledge experience of health & safety, compliance, legislation, legionella Capex and budgeting experience Ability to manage various size projects Relevant qualifications including Health & Safety Flexible to work shifts including at the weekend Passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience Ability to attend emergency callouts People management experience as well as managing third party contractors Proven experience in maintenance management in the hospitality industry Benefits: Hotel Accommodation, Food, Golf & Spa discounts Friends and family discounts Recommend a Friend Uniform (if required for your role) Free on-site parking Complimentary use of Leisure Facilities Employee Assistant Programme
