Role Overview
The Project and Digital Support Lead is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the delivery of key projects while enhancing the company’s digital communication strategies and platforms. This role will ensure effective project management reporting and digital communications, whilst driving efficiency, engagement, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of nominated projects to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and progress reports.
• Manage stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Digital Support
• Contribute to the development and management of the agreed digital communication strategies to enhance internal and external engagement.
• Help oversee the organisation’s digital communication platforms, such as websites, social media channels, and email marketing tools especially in alignment with project updates.
• Ensure digital content is engaging, accessible, and aligned with organisational goals and brand standards.
• Monitor and report on the performance of digital communication initiatives, using analytics to inform improvements.
• Stay updated on trends and best practices in digital communications, recommending innovative approaches.
Monitoring and Reporting
• Track and report on project delivery and performance to budget, providing insights and recommendations to leadership, including updates on delivering projects supported through grants
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and organisational policies.
• Provide monthly updates on digital communication performance across the used channels.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential
• Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering and/or being involved complex projects, especially ones that involve technology.
• Ability to track, manage and report on programmes and/or projects to stakeholders
• Experience in digital communications, including social media, and email campaigns.
• Strong understanding of digital communication analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive and innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Desirable
• Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMP) and understanding of Lean Principles
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in developing and executing digital communication strategies.
• Knowledge of graphic design or content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
