Application OAT Analyst
Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced Application OAT Analyst to work with a key client based in Warwick.
*Please note this will require considerable onsite requirements in Warwick and will fall inside IR35.*
Job Description:
1. We're looking for someone with 3-5 years' experience doing this kind of role.
2. Define the Test Plan (document), including the scope and approach to Application Operational Acceptance Testing, in line with the published Test Strategy. (3 years)
3. Work with the relevant application vendors and support teams to define the App OAT test scenarios and test cases. (3 years)
4. Provide input to the MSP project plan, in respect of App OAT tasks, durations and dependencies. (2 years)
5. Define a schedule of test execution, taking into account dependencies and constraints (such as environment availability). (2 years)
6. Work with the relevant support teams to ensure that the App OAT test cases are executed in accordance with the Test Plan. (2 years)
7. Ensure that the results are properly recorded in Jira.
8. Produce a regular progress report, during preparation and execution. (3 years)
9. Participate in regular defect triage calls, to ensure that any App OAT defects are correctly assigned and are being addressed. (2 years)
Mandatory skills/experience:
1. Planning Application OAT within a data Centre environment, to include: Audit & Logging, Resilience, Backup & Recovery, Alerting & Monitoring. (3 years)
2. Creating a Test Plan. (3 years)
3. Defining Application OAT test scenarios and test cases. (3 years)
4. Jira. (1 year)
5. Must be proactive, organized and comfortable engaging with people at all levels in the organization.
6. Excellent communication skills.
