Job Description
As a Workshop Assistant, you will undertake non-skilled work associated with vehicle/plant maintenance workshops and provide general assistance to the workshop supervisor, chargehand mechanic, and mechanics. You will have previous experience of working in a similar role and have the ability to collect and deliver vehicles, follow basic directions, and undertake general cleaning duties within the workshop, including greasing and oiling of vehicles and plant. A willingness to work outdoors in all kinds of weather is essential. A Category C Driving Licence or equivalent entitlement to drive in Great Britain is required.
