We have an incredible opportunity for a Lead Technical Business Analyst (BA) to join our TSG Delivery team on a permanent basis based in the Darlington office (hybrid based).

The role
The Lead Technical BA will lead a small team of experienced technical BAs to support the delivery of technical projects within Railpen. This role is essential in ensuring that technical requirements and associated solutions meet business expectations, providing key insights and direction for project delivery.
The person
The successful candidate will be someone who has previously worked as a Lead Technical BA and who has experience within technical project delivery. Having an understanding of technology trends and their application in a regulated environment is essential to this role. You will have a proficiency in requirements management tools including: JIRA, Confluence, data analysis tools, and familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum. Previous line management experience and a desire to share best practice and support the development of your direct report in an inclusive way through coaching and mentoring is key.
As the Lead Technical BA, you will have an ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Railpen to understand their needs and ensure alignment with project goals. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders is key. You will be flexible and resilient whilst being comfortable adapting to changing circumstances. You will have excellent analytical skills and be capable of solving complex problems and making data-driven decisions. The successful candidate will look to identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the BA function.
