The role will sit within Operations and involve leading a team of motor claims handlers to develop them and maximise efficiencies, specifically within Recovery. Exposure to this would be even better.
The role would suit someone from a Motor Insurance background with some managerial experience, which will allow you to understand the challenges and objectives of the team.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Performance management of staff
2. Dealing with all aspects of people management including quality auditing, absence, holidays, and time management
3. Conducting monthly one-on-ones and performance reviews
4. Training and development
5. Disciplinary procedures and staff welfare
You will use your claims experience to maximise the imparting of technical knowledge to the team by way of mentoring and coaching.
