You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Water Services in your regional area, leading and developing teams to meet key strategic priorities: Water quality and resilience Net zero and environmental gains Affordability and customer service Through strong, visible leadership, you will ensure exceptional operational performance, drive health and safety excellence, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Culture: Inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team. Safety & Compliance: Ensure a strong safety culture, reducing risks and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Asset Operations & Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and operation of assets, ensuring network resilience, compliance, and efficiency while maintaining asset health. Customer Operations: Work closely with Customer Strategy & Operations teams to ensure customer-centric decision-making and service excellence. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, industry bodies, and community representatives. Continuous Improvement: Drive standardisation of operational and maintenance processes, championing efficiency and innovation. Crisis Management: Provide leadership during high-severity operational incidents, ensuring swift resolution and mitigation. What We’re Looking For Proven Leadership: Demonstrable experience in leading and coaching large, multidisciplinary teams. Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the water services sector, including regulatory frameworks and technological advancements. Commercial Acumen: Ability to blend analytical thinking with strategic insight to enhance business growth and service delivery. Stakeholder Management: Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams. Risk & Compliance Management: Experience in risk assessment and ensuring adherence to industry best practices and legal requirements. Excellent Communication: Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. Qualifications & Requirements Degree-level education or equivalent professional qualification, ideally supported by an MBA. Full UK driving licence.
