4. Facilitate annual SACT update training in collaboration with the SACT CNS team.
5. Deliver ad hoc training for new treatments within the department and lead regular in-house teaching sessions.
6. Ensure staff have undertaken relevant training and are competent in the use of all equipment within the clinical area.
7. Support staff in their personal professional development and direct them to relevant formal courses pertaining to the speciality.
8. Ensure appropriate allocation of supervisors/mentors for the induction period in consultation with senior sisters.
9. Provide continuing support to newly appointed members of staff and their supervisor/mentor, resolving any problems promptly and effectively.
