* Full time, Monday – Friday (36.25 hours) with flexible start and finish times

* £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

The Role
We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant Manager to support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the manager with daily warehouse operations
* Oversee goods in and manage stock adjustments
* Ensure compliance with proper procedures and health & safety regulations
* Ensure same-day dispatch of orders where possible
* Conduct rolling stock takes/checks and maintain bin stock levels
* Prepare commercial invoices
* Handle carrier/delivery queries
* Authorise holidays in the absence of the Warehouse Manager
* Provide postage quotes and monitor any staffing errors
* Cover for other warehouse staff when needed
* Keep the warehouse tidy and take on ad hoc tasks as required

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual who is ready to take the next step in their warehouse career. About you:
* Skills: Strong organisational abilities, excellent communication, familiarity with warehouse procedures, multitasking, prioritisation, and keen attention to detail.
* Experience: Previous warehouse experience is essential, ideally in a supervisory or assistant management role. Experience handling stock management, goods in/out, and shipping queries is highly beneficial.
* Qualifications: Relevant warehouse or logistics certifications are an advantage but not mandatory if you can demonstrate equivalent experience.
* Personal Attributes: Proactive, solutions-focused, and a team player with a positive attitude. Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as needed.
