Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a full time Sales Administrator.
Our client is a distributor of renewable energy products to the trade, ranging from solar panels and battery storage to electric vehicle chargers. They are looking for someone to join their small, friendly internal sales admin team. Due to the nature of the business, candidates who have worked in a sales order processing role before, for a company with a range of technical products would be of particular interest.
Job Role:
1. Answering the phone and dealing with trade customer enquiries.
2. Processing sales orders taken via email, phone, or via the company website.
3. Communicating with other departments, e.g., warehouse, transport, accounts, etc.
4. Compiling quotes for customer jobs.
5. Being proactive and calling customers to chase feedback on quotes, promote training/meet the manufacturer events, and new products/special offers.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience of working in a busy sales office.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Fun, friendly personality, able to get on well with colleagues and customers.
4. Excellent attention to detail and methodical.
5. Good mathematical skills, a logical brain, and common sense.
6. A passion to learn the job, be interested in learning and developing.
7. Ability, with training, to be comfortable dealing with trade customer enquiries about a technical product.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.15pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm, with one hour each day for lunch.
