Provide support to the Occupational Therapy Lead and AHP Lead in the development of the Health Board wide service.
To provide clinical leadership for junior staff and students, through supervision and appraisal as delegated by the line manager.
To deliver support and interventions that enable participants to manage their health and return to and/or remain in work.
To manage a defined caseload of clients with complex health/work needs, using evidence based client-centred principles, to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the outcomes of intervention and maintain associated records. To organise this efficiently and effectively with regard to clinical priorities and use of time.
The post is particularly suited to a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist, with previous experience supporting individuals with long-term health conditions and providing vocational advice and support.
Specialist focus of the role is on providing tools to manage mild-moderate mental health issues including stress, anxiety and depression.
