Job Purpose:
To provide administrative support to the buying office with a high level of accuracy and customer service. This role is a key support function for a dynamic office that needs to be organised and structured while delivering key KPIs on time. You will learn the fundamentals of how the business operates with the aim of progressing into Category Management. You will assist the purchasing team in delivering on agreed strategies surrounding product and supplier management.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management:
1. Creation and maintenance of product SKUs
2. Management of future price increases and upload onto the system, as well as communication out to the business
3. Resolving invoice queries relating to price
4. Collection of relevant information related to product information management (PIM) for internal and external business needs
Supplier Management:
1. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
Analysis & Reporting:
1. Gathering data to present analysis and propose solutions or next steps
2. Monthly board report gathering
Documentation & Record Keeping:
1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation related to purchasing activities and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures
Stakeholder Relationships:
1. Supporting branches with queries relating to product and supplier management for a smooth process leading to business success
