JOB : QHSE Manager
LOCATION : Slough
TERM : Permanent
SALARY : GBP 45,000 to GBP 55,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is working with a leading engineering company based in Slough that is looking to hire a QHSE Manager. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in quality, health and safety, and environmental management within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
The QHSE Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
: A relevant qualification in Quality, Health and Safety, or Environmental Management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO Lead Auditor).
: Proven experience in a QHSE management role within an engineering or manufacturing setting.
: Strong knowledge of ISO management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
: Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
: Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
: Ability to develop and maintain QHSE policies and procedures.
: Strong problem:solving and leadership skills.
: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of the business.
The QHSE Manager role will involve:
: Managing and improving the companys QHSE systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
: Leading internal and external audits and ensuring ISO certifications are maintained.
: Conducting risk assessments, implementing corrective actions, and driving a strong safety culture.
: Providing training and guidance on QHSE policies and best practices.
: Investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing preventative measures.
: Working closely with senior management to align QHSE strategies with business goals.
: Ensuring environmental and sustainability objectives are met.
