4. Maintain a positive and supportive environment for the children, helping them to build trust and feel safe.
5. Regularly liaise with families, social workers, and other professionals involved in the children's care and development.
6. Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels to ensure the smooth running of the home.
7. Provide guidance, training, and support to the care team, fostering a positive team culture.
8. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required by regulatory bodies.
9. Respond to emergencies and handle challenging situations with professionalism and care.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
1. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
2. Proven experience in managing or leading a children's home, with a strong understanding of children's safeguarding and care standards.
3. A deep understanding of the challenges faced by children in care and a commitment to improving their lives.
4. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a team.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and external agencies.
6. A full driving license is desirable but not essential.
What We Offer:
1. Competitive salary and benefits package.
2. Comprehensive training and professional development opportunities.
3. A supportive work environment where you can make a real difference.
4. Opportunities for career progression within our expanding organization.
5. Company Car alongside complete insurance.
6. Life Insurance.
If you are a dedicated and experienced professional with a passion for improving the lives of children in care, we would love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
