Integrity Team Lead
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Integrity Team Lead, based in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities:
1. To ensure that the inspection and monitoring requirements requested by Pressure Systems, Structural and Pipeline Written Schemes of Examination are effectively planned and implemented; and that such inspection plans are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
2. Ensuring that procedures and processes for topsides pressure systems integrity management are adequately scoped, remain relevant and effective, and are implemented accordingly both on and offshore.
3. Ensuring that procedures and associated documentation within scope of responsibility are subject to regular review and audit, and that these align with policy, regulation, code and other applicable standards.
4. To ensure that updates to Pressure Systems Risk based Inspection (RBI) assessments and written schemes of examination are implemented by the team and the integrity management contractor, and that written scheme output is captured via controlled inspection and monitoring plans; as per approved IMS procedure.
5. To ensure that effective inspection enactment contracts are in place, so that topsides inspection and monitoring deliverables can be achieved; and, to ensure that said contracts are providing cost effectiveness and value add.
6. To ensure that inspection plans are negotiated and agreed between onshore Integrity Engineers and offshore Installation Integrity Engineers, to provide for well managed delivery on inspection and monitoring implementation scopes.
7. Maintaining relevant performance dashboards in PowerBI/MAXIMO.
8. To continually develop team capability, by assessing and improving competence, and by leading in a manner that fosters self-drive, ownership and a spirit of delivery excellence.
9. To work with on and offshore teams to ensure that clear and effective dialogue exists, such that a proactive culture of shared ownership prevails, and alignment on integrity purpose and objectives exists throughout the team.
10. Clearly understanding boundaries of equipment ownership (namely the boundaries between pipelines, structures, rotating equipment, drilling equipment etc.) and ensuring that such boundaries are clearly documented and communicated.
11. Develop and maintain key integrity interfaces with third party FPSO contractors.
12. Ongoing management of integrity performance standards for FPSO within the client's asset portfolio.
13. FPSO integrity performance monitoring and audit against defined performance standards.
14. Ensuring that Technical Authorities and Responsible Engineers deliver timely and cost effective technical solutions and projects in the context of our life of field expectations.
15. Making sure that our operating assets are provided with appropriate day-to-day operational technical support by available technical disciplines.
16. Working with others to agree and deliver operational enhancements.
17. Ensuring that topsides pressure systems IM cycles are delivered in accordance with documented management systems, and that visibility (through clear TA ownership) is maintained throughout each full lifecycle phase, in particular monitoring our MCDR planning and liquidation.
18. Own and deliver designated responsibility for topsides integrity budget on annual basis and for Life of Field (LOF).
19. Ensuring that topsides integrity contracts are in place, so that topsides integrity deliverables can be achieved; and, to ensure that said contracts are providing cost effectiveness and value add.
20. Champion a culture of Process Safety excellence at the company.
21. Ensure that all relevant Regulations, Standards and Practices are applied within own area of responsibility.
22. Ensure that standards of competence are met and maintained by all personnel within own area of responsibility.
Functional Job Skills:
1. Degree qualified or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline.
2. Masters qualification would be an advantage.
3. Chartered engineer status.
4. Valid survival certificate and offshore medical.
5. Demonstrable expertise in integrity engineering and management fundamentals.
6. Ability to lead teams and develop personnel to the best of their abilities.
7. Experience of designing, developing, introducing and managing effective IM Policy and Management Systems.
8. Strong understanding of in-service deterioration mechanisms and corrosion preventative measures.
9. Demonstrate ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
10. Working knowledge of applicable pressure systems codes, regulations, approved practice and industry recognised practice.
11. Ability to compile and interpret budgetary information and to make directions/recommendations on this basis.
