Contract Administrator/Planner wanted for a main contractor.
As the year is coming to a close and some sectors may be coming to a close for Christmas, we are very much up and running with a busy December ahead and some great opportunities with some market-leading clients.
Over at Skilled Careers, we are currently recruiting for a number of Contract Administrators/Planners for a leading main contractor on their contract with a renowned business in the gas industry based in the Potters Bar area.

As a Contract Administrator/Planner, your day-to-day will look like:
1. Managing the Client/Contract.
2. To manage client's expectations as per each individual contract's service level agreement.
3. To monitor and oversee all daily services ensuring they are allocated to relevant engineers.
4. To investigate service appointments that have had repeat visits and highlight to Contract Managers/Clients as and when necessary.
5. To ensure monthly service programme is planned in for all contracts worked on.
6. To manage and maintain the service process and ensure it is carried out so that the clients can follow their legal process.
7. To provide legal packs as and when required.
8. Provide status and ad hoc reports against the service program for Clients and Contract Manager.
9. To ensure all service queries are managed in a professional manner by applying proper telephone etiquette in order to satisfy various customer situations.
Other Duties:
1. To manage engineers' daily workload, ensuring engineers are in the correct locations with the correct amount of daily work.
2. To update Servicesoft with correct job notes relating to queries.
3. To gather and communicate cancellations of daily work and allocate to call bank to action.
4. To be flexible and help out with other areas when colleagues are busy or absent.
5. General office administration duties including filing, faxing, and photocopying.
6. Any other duties as and when required in order to meet the needs of the business.
7. To provide a daily report for following day service appointment for Call Bank.
Collaboration:
1. To serve as a focal point to communicate and resolve issues with other departments.
2. To meet with relevant managers to ensure effective communication for the smooth running of Contracts.
3. Work with and collaborate with Contract Planners and Call Bank to provide effective communication and excellent customer service.
4. To communicate and check engineers' work from the previous day to ensure all jobs are closed down.
5. Updating Client Portal as and when required.
Accountabilities:
1. Prioritisation and time management of own work.
2. Identifies areas for improvements and creates solutions and directives to resolve.
3. Fully understands the processes for all Contracts KPI’s.
4. Manages and responds efficiently to Clients queries via email or telephone.
About the Contract Administrator/Planner role:
Salary: Up to £28k per Annum
Location: Potters Bar
Hours: Full time position, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
