As a Project Procurement Manager (PPM) for Siemens Energy’s Aero-Derivative Gas Turbine team, based in Warwick, you’ll play a pivotal role in integrating procurement into project management from the bid phase to execution. Your responsibilities will include organising, controlling, and monitoring all project procurement activities, implementing strategies to maximise results, and working closely with the new unit/mods-ups procurement team to meet customer requirements effectively.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Early Project Engagement: Ensure procurement’s involvement from the sales phase, shaping project scope and objectives.
* Project Team Integration: Participate in project and sales meetings, offering insights into suppliers and supply market innovations.
* Resource Coordination: Manage procurement resources and activities to meet budget, timeline, and quality targets.
* Risk & Contract Management: Identify and mitigate risks, secure procurement requirements in contracts, and manage scope changes effectively.
* Supplier Performance Monitoring: Track and report supplier on-time delivery, maintaining transparency with stakeholders.
What You Bring
* Background: Degree or equivalent experience in a related field; gas turbine package experience is a plus.
* Experience: At least 5 years in project management & procurement with a strong record of value creation.
* Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, with a focus on results.
* Analytical Skills: Proficiency in market analysis, supplier assessments, and presenting commercial impacts.
