Job Description:
Production Operative | Full Time
At wagamama, we’re an eating house for the soul. With over 160 UK restaurants and growing, our purpose is to nourish the world from bowl to soul, inspired by fast-paced Japanese ramen bars since 1992.
We’re looking for a Production Operative to join us on our continuous journey of true nourishment.
The Role |
As a Production Operative at wagamama, you’ll work in our central team to assist in the production of our sauces and gyozas that are distributed to all of our restaurants across the globe. You’ll de-box, de-bag, and decant ingredients ready for production. You'll assist with mixing, weighing, preparing, bagging, boxing, and packing of sauces or gyoza, following our recipes and specifications. You’ll embody the wagamama way and form part of a diverse and inclusive team.
Compensation and Benefits:
* £12.35 per hour paid weekly + up to £1 bonus per hour worked
* Access up to 30% of your earnings before payday with Wagestream

* 50% discount at wagamama + 30% at all other TRG brands with friends and family
* Performance-based bonus scheme
* Retail and leisure discounts
* Financial wellbeing support | access to loans repaid through your salary
* Kintsugi wellness | access to counselors, cycle to work scheme, discounted gym + leisure
* Internal development programmes to progress into a senior operative, team leader, supervisor + beyond
What We Look For |
We're looking for a team player and keen learner, someone who is able to work morning shifts starting as early as 6am or evening shifts finishing as late as midnight. You'll have an eye for detail, and be an individual who will support their team in achieving full compliance and delivering best quality throughout the shift. You don't need previous experience working in a production unit. Just a great attitude + a willingness to learn, we'll teach you the rest!
The Wagamama Way |
Kaizen, meaning ‘good change’, is the philosophy that sits at the core of who we are. It shapes every dish we create and pushes us to find better ways in all we do. Our food, how we think, how we work, it has to be fresh. Committed to championing change in both our communities + the impact on the planet.
Three whole decades of acting different, we don’t conform, we celebrate difference. Appreciating personality over perfection. Welcoming everyone and their unique story to our benches. We promise to have your back. Working together to build close bonds of trust + support. Creating safe spaces where we can have real conversations with open hearts + open minds.
All we ask is for you to dish up what makes you different.
Be you, be wagamama
