Responsibilities
Production of accurate and timely management information, cashflow forecasting and budgeting, journals, processing of bank payments, debtor/creditor control, statutory returns.
Objective of the Role
To maintain the company accounts so that the business fulfills its obligations to its stakeholders.
Collective Responsibilities
1. Supporting the management of Health, Safety and wellbeing for the business to ensure everyone is safe and risks are mitigated.
2. Working to the company’s Health and Safety rules and ensuring compliance.
3. Working to the company Quality Management System.
Role Responsibilities
1. Ensuring the team are abiding by and working to the company’s Health and Safety policies to ensure everyone is kept safe.
2. Formal reporting of accidents and near misses and SIOs.
3. Ensuring good housekeeping standards are attained and maintained in the office.
4. Work in accordance with the company Quality Management System (QMS) (i.e. sales order process).
5. Produce and present monthly management accounts/reports, preparing and managing the year end process with the accountants.
6. Calculating the monthly stock value for Management Information.
7. Dealing with new starters, contracts signed and files for staff.
8. Control of contracts/leases such as IT, Photocopiers, Phones, and collating quotes in order for best value to be achieved for the business.
9. Bank reconciliations and payments/DD’s.
10. Manage petty cash.
11. Fire Warden.
12. Day to day oversight of the office team and its functions – including organising and arranging of cover for holidays.
13. Manage day-to-day company accounts.
14. Budget forecasting and cash flow management.
15. Statutory returns & legal compliance for HMRC/ONS Statistics.
16. Oversee credit control, directing for chasing in debts.
17. Contributing to creation of KPI’s.
18. Software backups for Sage whilst required.
19. Meeting and Greeting our Visitors.
20. Dealing with Collections and deliveries.
21. Answering the telephone and providing reception service.
22. Actioning of correspondence.
