We are looking for a Sales Adviser to build strong and sustainable relationships with customers and act as a trustworthy advisor delivering excellent customer service. You will be the customer’s key point of contact in WSS Customer Service, adding value and advising them on which products to buy, why, when, and where. Drive sales through proactive follow-up of quotes to increase the likelihood of selling.
Who you will work with
The Sales Adviser will report to the Customer Service Manager and will also collaborate closely with the Sales organisation, Technical Sales Team, and Customer Support team in Poland.
What you will work on
* Work closely with customers, understanding and supporting decision makers’ needs and being their main contact in WSS Customer Service.
* Proactively identify, plan, and follow up on open quotes to turn them into orders.
* Utilize tools and knowledge about the customer to leverage insights, adding value to the customer and increasing our sales growth.
* Be an active member of the Sales team for the respective account portfolio.
* Ensure appropriate problem-solving and wide collaboration with other functions/stakeholders to fulfill customer needs efficiently.
* Conduct customer visits in close collaboration with Sales.
What we believe you need to succeed in the role
* Relevant education and/or relevant work experience.
* Fluent in English – both in writing and speaking.
* Interest/experience in the shipping industry and marine products.
* Excellent (telephone) sales skills.
