Aspire People are currently recruiting for a KS2 Intervention Teacher To work in a school in Northfield area of Birmingham. This role is for an Asap start and full time.
The school are looking for a Year 6 Booster/Intervention Teacher who wants a new challenge working as part of a supportive team who share planning, you will be primarily working with lower ability groups to support the preparation and intervention required for SATS.
The school is part of a large academy trust and progression opportunities are available for staff within the school and schools within the group. The school have a strong leadership team who are on hand to support where necessary.

This is a large school with good transport links. It has average EAL and SEND needs for the geographic area and provide additional support for these students both within the classroom and extended resources within the school

As a full time, teacher, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected.
* Teach Year 6 SATS intervention and preparation
* Assess, mark and plan lessons and SATS practice papers
* Assess achievements of pupils.
* Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & dept meetings.
