The Role
Our new ‘Changing Futures’ programme, supported by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority seeks to test new ways of bringing together the public and community sectors to address cross-cutting issues and to drive the modernisation of public services for people who face multiple disadvantages. We want to transform local services and reinvent the way we deliver to those that need it most.
Our approach is to work with people no matter their circumstance, building on the principles of trauma informed practice, investing in lived experience, no wrong front door and integrated support infrastructures, with learning from the programme to be embedded as sustainable future practice.
About The Role:
As Changing Futures Programme Manager, you will lead the delivery of this change programme, directing the development of our approach and build the business case for sustainability of the programme beyond its initial funding period.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have relevant experience of leading frontline delivery models for adults experiencing multiple disadvantage and delivering effective working relationships across public and charitable sectors. You will also have proven experience of managing and coaching employees and partners and supporting them through different ways of working.
Key to your role will be the ability to drive change to local systems and services so that we see improved outcomes for the people we are trying to help. You will also play an important role in ensuring learning and positive practice is shared regionally and nationally. The role will require you to work across various locations across Bolton.
About You
Bolton are looking for an inspiring individual that can help shape our work with some of the most disadvantaged people living within our borough.
The successful candidate will have experience in facilitating multi-agency collaboration to improve outcomes, as well as managing and implementing change projects. They should be adept at managing and monitoring budgets and possess strong skills in IT systems, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. A thorough understanding of GDPR principles, particularly in relation to data protection and information sharing, is essential.
The role requires a project management qualification or equivalent relevant experience, along with a background in working with government. Additionally, knowledge of policy and practice related to involving people with lived experience in achieving service or systems change would be advantageous.
